Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective date: 4 June 2026

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services bought from Firearm License Pro SA (flpsa.co.za), operated by Cape Town Firearm Training Academy (Pty) Ltd ("FLPSA", "we", "us"). It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. The nature of our service

FLPSA provides a digital service: we generate your SAPS forms and motivation letter on demand from the information on your profile, and deliver them to you immediately once payment is confirmed.

2. Cancelling before the documents are generated

You may cancel at any time before a paid document or bundle has been generated. If you have paid but nothing has been generated or delivered, contact us and we will refund you in full.

3. After the documents have been generated

Because the documents are generated and delivered to you immediately, an order is generally non-refundable once the document or bundle has been generated, as the digital service has already been performed and delivered. By proceeding to payment you agree that the service begins immediately and you ask us to start straight away.

4. Your first regeneration is free

If you need to change details and regenerate a document, the first regeneration of each application is free. Further regenerations may carry the fee shown before you proceed.

5. When we will refund you

We will refund (or, where you prefer, re-do the work) in cases such as:

You were charged more than once for the same order (duplicate payment).
You paid but the document or bundle was never delivered due to a technical failure on our side, and we are unable to deliver it.
The document we delivered was materially defective due to a fault in our system (not due to incorrect information you supplied), and we are unable to correct it.

6. What is not refundable

A correctly generated and delivered document, simply because you changed your mind after delivery.
Errors caused by inaccurate or incomplete information you provided (use your free regeneration to fix these).
SAPS declining, delaying or not processing your application — the outcome is decided by SAPS, not FLPSA.

7. Electronic transactions (cooling-off)

Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002, a cooling-off right does not apply to digital content/services where performance has begun with your consent. Because our documents are generated and delivered immediately at your request, this exception applies once generation has begun. Your other statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. How to request a refund

Email support@flpsa.co.za with your name, the email on your account, and your payment reference. Please contact us within 7 days of the payment. Approved refunds are made via PayFast to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days.
